Kelly Groucutt 1945 - 2009

Sadly Kelly passed away in 2009.  Kelly was the bassist for ELO, between 1974 and 1983, before going on to be with ELO part 2 and Orchestra. He was born in Coseley, West Midlands, which is 2 miles from me! He recorded his own album titled Kelly in 1981. the tracks (which for some reason sounded very ELO) were recorded with fellow ELO members  Louis Clark, Bev Bevan, Richard Tandy and Mik Kaminski. The tracks were Am I A Dreamer, Oh, Little Darling,  Dear Mama,  Black Hearted Woman,  Midnight Train,  Can't Stand The Morning, Anything Goes With Me,  Old Rock & Roller, Don't Wanna Hear That Song Again, and Sea of Dreams. WARNING if you have not heard this album before, you are in for a pleasant surprise!
